Happy Halloween!

 The shark.
 The monkey ballerina.
And the chicken.

Everyday fun

Someone else discovered the joy of wearing sunglasses! Too bad he gets stuck with a shiny, pink, flower pair.
More beets. Nothing makes her happier.
Jude and Hazel are always wanting to play in their beds. I have no idea why, but they like to go in their bed, play, and listen to music. Whatever makes them happy, right? Sometimes they'll play in the same bed. Sometimes that's not such a good idea.
We have a TRIPLE stroller now! Thankfully, someone in town was selling one! Noel even went jogging with the kids in this one. It's enormous. Oh, and nice faces kids.
 Too cool for school?
 Jude prefers pushing to riding.
We made a trip to Seattle a few weeks ago to go to IKEA. The kids weren't doing great on the ride down, so I dropped Noel and them off at the aquarium and took Nona to IKEA with me. By the time I was done at IKEA, they were done at the aquarium. Perfect! And they loved it!
Splashing in the water. So fun!
Splash, splash! Hazel thought it was hilarious when Jude touched the animals in the water.
 Sharks. Yikes!
 Smiley Nona!
Nona has 2 favorite things to chew on: these puzzle pieces and blocks. Both are kept under the TV stand. She crawls over and pulls them out. So much for baby toys!

Snyder visit

It feels funny posting these so late since the weather is completely different and I feel like this was forever ago, but I guess that's what happens when the sickies take over! Noel's parents came for a visit in September. They played with the kids, helped in the yard and were here to celebrate Noel's birthday! Here are just a lot of pictures of their time here.

This is the face Jude always makes on the swing. He puts his head back and scrunches up his face. Hilarious. Thanks Papa for capturing it!
They love the side by side slides!

Hazel showing off one of her Mother's Day Out crafts.
The kids needed to find something to do outside while Papa was weeding!

 Mmmmmmm, beets.

Nona

I realize I never posted Nona's 6 month stats. Now that she's 7 and 1/2 months old, I think it's about time.
Height: 25 inches - 25th %
Weight: 15 lbs 4 oz - 35-40%
Head: 43.8 cm - 85%
At least she's keeping the trend of the giant heads.

We had her 6 month pictures taken a few weeks ago and they turned out so great! Here are just a few.

This is my favorite. Not smiling, but so precious with her big eyes.

She got her first tooth the day after these pictures! That could explain the difficulty we had from keeping her hands and feet in her mouth.

What else is Nona up to? Well, for weeks she saw no need to crawl. She became a master roller. I can't tell you how many times Noel and I said, "How'd she get over there?" And she was fast! But, yesterday, she started crawling! She was desperate to get the sticky notes that were all over the floor due to Hazel's "craft time" and crawled army style to get them. She's still getting the hang of it, but is already crawling more than rolling.

She loves all food, but her favorite is beets. She is HILARIOUS with beets. She giggles, blows raspberries (what a mess) and begs for more. The Mother's Day Out staff love giving her beets. It makes them laugh.

She is starting to make some consonant sounds.

She screeches and squeals with delight quite often. She likes to have conversations where she makes a sound, you make it back to her, repeat, repeat, repeat.

She has 2 teeth and is working on more.

She doesn't play with any baby toys. She just crawls around to find anything (other than baby toys) to chew on: books, Hazel and Jude's play food, dolls, whatever.

I can't remember the last time I gave her a bath.

She is such a great baby and I can't believe how fast she's growing and changing!
