Congratulations, Dad!
I'm so proud of my dad. He just finished the Traverse City Bayshore Marathon and ran his best time ever! His goal was to qualify for the Boston Marathon next April and he succeeded! Way to go, Dad! I'm not sure we'll make it to Boston to cheer you on, but we'll definitely be there in spirit.

That's Great, Heidi. If he wants someone to talk to about Boston, my dad would love to share his experiences. He has run it the past seven years, and he's learned a lot about what makes it different from other marathons. My mom has also learned how to maximize the number of times she can see him during the race. Phil and I went last year to cheer him on, and it was quite an experience. Pass along my CONGRATS!
