Stomach issues
Both kids continue to have stomach issues. It's hard to tell if it's just reflux and we haven't found the right medicine or if they've developed food sensitivities or something else. Bottom line is that it's frustrating. We try to keep them on a similar schedule, but when they refuse to eat or barf, it's impossible since eating is the main piece of a good schedule. Please pray that their digestive systems are healed and brought to full maturity quickly. We hate feeling like we're force feeding, but they just don't want to eat. We feel a lot of pressure from the doctors to keep them growing rapidly, so this has become a very stressful issue for us. Thank you for your prayers!

I just caught up on the babies, they are getting so big already. Isn't it hard to believe how much they've already been through? YEAH for no more oxygen. I'm sure this is a huge blessing in not having to deal with it anymore, but also in knowing it's one more step in the right direction. As for the reflux and eating.....aaaagggghhh. Melanie dealt with this too and it is very frustrating. The Dr.s are watching them closely for weight gain and yet everything they eat the puke up. So your worried about their weight gain while you're cleaning up puke ALL THE TIME!! I will pray the Lord will give you strength to survive these days with sanity. Just know they will overcome this, their little systems just need some time to catch up with everything. In the mean time I would suggest trying to make the best of it....take pictures and record the longest distance of puke. Our second daughter has the record for our girls. She was in her carseat driverside and hit the window on the passenger side of a trail blazer. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!!
