We had the good fortune of being able to meet up with Heath and Lyndsay, our dear friends from Pasadena! It was so fun to meet their 2 kids and introduce them to our kids. They currently live in North Carolina, but happened to be in Michigan visiting family. We were so glad!!!

Sweet Jude. He had a bit of a hard time adjusting to the time change and was quite tired all the time (which also made him quite cranky).

Nona was VERY tired a lot of the trip. She would not nap in her bed. In fact, she would only nap in Noel's arms except for the couple of occasions that she fell asleep in her bouncy chair. She is just now starting to settle into napping a bit better at home. Here she is cashed out on the deck in while we were all enjoying a warm evening outside.
Hazel and Jude liked playing in the little pool on the deck! It's too cold in Oak Harbor for such fun, so this was a real treat. Jude wasn't too sure about sitting in the water, but Hazel really liked it and they had fun splashing away.

We were able to take the kids to the neighbors' pool. Hazel LOVED it (not going under). Jude thought it was okay. His tiredness really made him leary of new things.
"Daddy! Thank you for taking me in the pool! It was so fun!!!!"
